Jigsaw Conferences Accommodation Specialist Bridie Connolly and Account Manager Koy Birnie visited the Grosvenor Hotel Victoria. With a prime location at Victoria station as well as grandeur architecture and heritage, this is a hotel not to miss! This hotel has undergone a multi-million refurbishment. Originally built by the Victorian railway pioneers in 1862, the hotel has now been restored to its former glory, now a wonderful historic Grade II listed building with modern luxury. The Grosvenor offers nine meeting rooms all on one floor with natural daylight. All the meeting spaces are named after famous trains from all around the world. The largest space is the Orient Suite which is able to accommodate 110 delegates and with high ceilings, a beautiful chandelier and Victorian décor it is perfect for private for all grand events. There are a total of 346 bedrooms in the hotel that are extremely quiet considering the property's bustling location in Victoria.
The hotel also provides various dining options. The brasserie offers gastropub style food, there is also a delightful afternoon tea that is served in the lounge between 2pm - 5pm, and of course the Grand Imperial is the Grosvenor’s fine dining restaurant, serving freshly made Dim Sum as well as other Cantonese dishes and with a 2 Course Lunch Menu costing only £16.00 this is an opportunity to indulge in high-quality dining for lack of the price; hence an opportunity that should not be missed. And did I mention the service? Top notch and if you're adventurous do let the staff recommend as they do not disappoint! If you have the opportunity to visit the Grosvenor Hotel you should most certainly do! If you're simply just waiting for your train at Victoria station why not make your wait a little bit more enjoyable and head into the Reunion bar at the Grosvenor which overlooks the station, grab a drink and watch your live train updates from there. Either way the Grosvenor Hotel has an offering for everyone.
