The Casterbridge room is the perfect event space for presentations, meetings, and get-togethers. Named in Thomas Hardy’s honour, the novelist wrote much of The Mayor of Casterbridge in the light-filled and stylish bow-windowed room. The space which can host up to 50 guests has been designed to be adaptable for every occasion and can be set up with sofas and easy chairs, or in more traditional presentation or meeting formats. The room has state of the art air-conditioning for those warm Summer days. Screen, projector & equipment available on request.
The Old Smoking Room provides a comfortable space for delegates. Accommodating up to 12 persons around the large table boardroom style as well as soft furnishing to breakout to. The screen/projector can be positioned in the centre of the room, with the chairs around the table being rotated for all delegates to face the screen direction. The Old Smoking Room cannot be changed other than the specified layout. The room is recommended for boardroom style meetings up to 12 persons or a breakout space in conjunction to booking The Casterbridge Room.
