Named after the ballroom in the old City Hotel which was famous for Ballroom dancing in the 1960’s. The Corinthian Ballroom boasts stunning views over looking the River Foyle & Guildhall flooding the suite with natural daylight for delegates. The suite can accommodate up to 350 in a theatre setting or 180 in a cabaret setting. Using a unique partition system the Corinthian Ballroom can be utilised as one large room or can be divided into three separate syndicate rooms
The Alexander Suite is named after Cecil Frances Alexander who lived in Derry with her husband, Church of Ireland Bishop William Alexander. Cecil Frances Alexander was famous for publishing hymns such as ‘There is a green hill far away’ and ‘All things bright and beautiful. This suite can accommodate up to 100 delegates in a theatre setting or 50 in a cabaret setting.
The Writers Room is named after some of Ireland’s most famous writers, portraits of who are displayed around the walls within the room. This suite is a dedicated boardroom to accommodate up to 20 people with inbuilt projection & screen
The McCorkell Suite is named after the McCorkell Line Ship building company which operated in the city between 1860 and 1896 and built the famous Minnehaha Ship. This suite can accommodate up to 40 delegates in a theatre setting or 21 in a cabaret setting
The Amelia Suite is named after Amelia Earhart who unexpectedly landed in the outskirts of the City in May 1932 when she became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. This suite can accommodate up to 30 delegates in a theatre setting or 24 in a cabaret setting.
The Hervey Suite is named after Frederick Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol who was Bishop of Derry. It is a dedicated boardroom to accommodate up to 10 delegates
The Berkeley Suite is named after Dr. George Berkeley who was made Dean of Derry in 1724. The suite can accommodate 10 in a boardroom setting or 14 in a semi cirle of chairs, ideal for focus group sessions
