The Foyer is available for private events outside museum opening hours, and is used alone or in conjunction with other spaces in the museum. It has direct access to both the Atrium and Cafe. Incorporating large expanses of glass and open to the Atrium, the Foyer is a light-filled space at the front of the building; the glazed facade on the east side overlooks Sir John Soane's Grade II listed stables. High ceilings and neutral finishes make this architectural space an ideal backdrop for production and branding. At the heart if the museum, the Atrium is a dramatic central space which extends from the lower ground floor to the full height of the building. The L-shaped Cafe is split into two sections for events - C1 and C2. C1 overlooks the Atrium and Foyer and is used in conjunction with these spaces for larger events. C2 is a stand-alone space, connecting directly with the museum's main entrance. The Cafe is located on a mezzanine level at the front of the museum.
