Furniture Makers’ Hall is situated in historic Austin Friars, conveniently close to many transport networks such as Liverpool Street, Bank & Moorgate station. The Hall boasts original Victorian features as well as bespoke wood furniture and fittings, including an ornate oak staircase running through the centre of the building. There is a choice of 3 distinct rooms for hire equipped with state-of-the-art AV and supported with an outstanding catering and events service. The spaces are well designed for private meetings, workshops, roadshows or small conferences for up to 100 people, which require a discreet and friendly environment. This venue can offer a high-quality responsive event management service, which includes assistance with all aspects of your event, from technical support to bespoke catering.
This beautiful event space on the ground floor with high ceilings, period features and natural daylight, provides a luxurious environment for dinner, receptions and conferences. There is also a fully integrated AV system for meetings with front projection and retractable screen and for parties the room can accommodate dancing for up to 120 guests. Outside there is a large open reception space for refreshments.
The Mike Clare Room is on the first floor, reached via the beautiful oak spiral staircase that runs up through the heart of the house. This popular space is ideal for private meetings and dinners with impressive features of high ceilings, natural light and beautifully carved furniture. Up to 16 people can be seated for a boardroom style meeting and can also accommodate receptions and theatre style functions. The room has excellent Wi-Fi, telephone facilities and other business services, which can be provided by the on-site event management team.
The Arnold Moore Room is a simple and elegant wood panelled room, which is ideal for private dining, celebrations or meetings. Situated on the ground floor, it has natural light from windows at the front of the building, looking out on the picturesque Dutch Church, a delightful setting amongst the City.
