About Venue

Kings Place is a modern, purpose built venue in the heart of the rejuvenated Kings Cross. The venue boasts an enviable location, overlookng the picturesque Regents Canal.


So why should you use Kings Place for your next event? We’re:

  

  • Versatile spaces – We have 2 purpose built auditoriums that can seat up to 420, a large banqueting space with outdoor terrace overlooking the Regent’s Canal for up to 220 for dinner or 330 for a reception, 2 art galleries that can be used for private dinners or receptions, the canal-side Rotunda Restaurant, as well as several smaller meeting rooms that can be used alone or as breakout rooms for larger events.

 

  • Location, location, location – Kings Place is less than 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras Mainline, Underground and Eurostar stations, which means that guests attending from as far as Europe, to the North and South of the UK, to just across London can all easily reach us. Heathrow and Gatwick are also easily accessible for international attendees.

 

  • State-of-the-art-technology – at Kings Place we include state-of-the-art-technology as standard. We were the first London event venue to offer clients 1GB bandwidth, we have extensive in-house IT, production, and broadcast teams at your disposal, plus satellite connectivity installed on our roof. What more could you need?

 

  • CSR proof your event – Kings Place is home to the Kings Place Music Foundation (KPMF) a registered charity, which aims to provide a creative space where artists, musicians and audiences can meet to share ideas on music and culture. KPMF aims to deliver a very rich and busy music programme, which is funded entirely by revenue generated through event and conference hire and ticket sales, without reliance on public funding. 

Meeting Rooms

Hall One - 400

Hall One is a fixed seating auditorium for up to 400 delegates and the room comes complete with state-of-the-art AV, sound & lighting technology along with technical management from the tech booth at the back of the auditorium. It has tiered seating with excellent sight-lines. Close to five break out spaces makes it easy to take the venue exclusively. A DDR is available @ £85pp+vat for minimum numbers of 250. This includes a large amount of AV, staffing and catering (3 refreshment breaks & lunch)

Hall Two - 200

Ideal for events up to 200 delegates. Hall Two has wooden floors and wall panels giving it a elegant decor and with its removable stage and seating gives organizers endless possibilities. Popular for small conferences in theatre style or cabaret and as a break out from Hall One. A DDR is available @ £85pp+vat for minimum numbers of 150. This includes a large amount of AV, staffing and catering (3 refreshment breaks & lunch)

Battlebridge Room - 400

Sits on the edge of the Regent's Canal Battlebridge Basin with picturesque canal views from its floor to ceiling windows meaning lots of natural daylight. Suitbale for seated dinners for up to 220, receptions for up to 400, small conferences up to 120 and social events. The room comes included with a spacious outdoor covered terrace making it the perfect spot for Summer & Christmas parties. The crisp white walls & plasma provide plenty of branding opportunities and the removable partition wall allows you to make the room more intimate depending on your final numbers.

St Pancras Room - 100

Recently refurbished to include new wooden floors and LED changeable colour wash lighting giving the space a modern look. Conviently located close to Hall One & Two making it the perfect breakout room. Excellent acoustics for presentations, meeting, small conferences, dinners and drinks receptions. The whitewash walls make St Pancras Room a fantastic 'blank canvas' space that can be easily branded.

Gallery Room - 60

The perfect space for boardroom meetings, presentations, small conferences & private dining. The Gallery Room is an executive multi-purpose space with marbled floors with offset with acoustic panelled walls and ceiling. It is designed to be self contained making it perfect for VIP guests and secretive meetings and has its own built in AV technology and cloakroom.
