About Venue

Features in Charles Dickens' Pickwick Papers, the Saracen's Head has a Victorian-style restaurant with a menu that makes use of fresh local produce complemented by an extensive wine list. It is an excellent venue for weddings. We now serve food all day throughout the lounge and bar areas. From traditional favourites such as fish and chips or steaks – to something a little different, there’s sure to be something to take your fancy. Our 21 en-suite bedrooms are situated on two floors. The Saracens Head Hotel is also the perfect venue for both conferences and weddings, with function suites for up to 120 guests. Situated on the Roman Watling Street, the Saracen's Head is ideally placed for a day at Towcester Racecourse, generally accepted as the toughest National Hunt course in Britain. Silverstone, for racing of a different kind, is just three miles away. Also nearby is Stoke Bruerne, a canal village with cottages and colourful narrow boats.
