The Mercure Southampton Centre Dolphin Hotel is the oldest hotel in Southampton dating back over 500 years, serving throughout this period as a welcome place to rest for weary travellers.
Today the hotel is a 4 star Grade II listed building and sits in the heart of the city. The hotel offers a modern and contemporary feel, while retaining its traditional appeal. Many of the hotel's original features have been preserved including two of Britain's largest bay windows.
One of the three function rooms is named after the famous author Jane Austen as she celebrated her 18th birthday here in 1793. With lots of natural daylight from the large bay windows The Dolphin is a great place for any event, wedding or meeting.
