A recurring research programme measuring how emergency accommodation and housing decants actually perform in the UK. We publish the methodology first, collect real operational evidence against it, and release findings only when the data meets the published sample requirements.

No synthetic, illustrative or placeholder benchmark figures — ever. Until our own operational datasets meet the published sample thresholds, the only numbers on these pages come from verified official sources, clearly attributed. Jigsaw operational findings will be labelled as such when published.
