What is the difference between exclusive-use and shared wedding venues?+

Exclusive-use venues host only your wedding that day — full privacy, flexible timings, usually a higher hire fee. Shared venues (hotels, some historic houses) may host other guests or events, but cost less and include more staffing. We shortlist both and set out the trade-offs clearly.
