Insurer oversight and reporting readiness
Jigsaw is developing a more structured insurance accommodation operating layer, designed to support case visibility, document trails, escalation controls, extension management and insurer-ready reporting.
Live case visibility roadmap
A phased roadmap towards clearer case visibility for instructing insurers and loss adjusters, developed through the controlled pilot.
Structured instruction capture
Every emergency instruction, potential displacement notification, case update, extension request and vulnerable customer escalation is captured in a structured, consistent format.
Extension control
Extensions are one of the biggest leakage points in alternative accommodation. Structured extension requests capture repair milestones, authority limits, urgency and approver details.
Vulnerable customer escalation
A Consumer Duty-aware escalation route with human-led review for welfare, access, medical, communication and safeguarding concerns.
Audit trail
Instructions and updates are recorded with timestamps and source data, building audit-ready records for each case.
Management information
Insurer-ready reporting and management information are part of the phased pilot roadmap.
Supplier performance
Accommodation supplier performance monitoring is planned as part of the developing operating layer.
Future GAAS LAW workflow layer
This workflow is designed to connect with the GAAS LAW operating layer for matter triage, audit trails, approval states, document tracking and insurer-ready reporting.
Future roadmap: first-line call handling, triage and routing support through approved voice AI partners, with human escalation for urgent, vulnerable or complex cases.
Controlled pilot: Jigsaw is currently developing this enhanced insurance accommodation response workflow through a phased pilot programme for insurers, loss adjusters, claims handlers and authorised partners. Jigsaw can receive structured accommodation instructions, potential displacement notifications, extension requests and vulnerable customer escalations. Coverage decisions, liability decisions, claim settlement decisions and policy interpretation remain with the insurer, loss adjuster or authorised claims handler unless separately agreed in writing.
